Marina Bay Sands Drives 28% Revenue Growth for Las Vegas Sands on VIP Surge

High-end demand has once again played a pivotal role for Las Vegas Sands Corp., with its Singapore flagship property, Marina Bay Sands, reporting significantly stronger results early in 2026. The company announced that for the quarter ending in March, the property's net revenue increased by 28% year-over-year to $1.49 billion. Adjusted property EBITDA grew by nearly one-third to $788 million, indicating that high-value gaming activity is accelerating and may reshape the profit structure.

This growth appears concentrated at the top end of the market. Rolling chip volume, an indicator of VIP gaming activity, more than doubled, approaching $18 billion, driving revenue in this segment up by 115% to approximately $639 million. While mass-market gaming also improved, its relative contribution slightly declined, suggesting that premium customers accounted for a larger share of the growth. These trends are likely to further solidify Marina Bay Sands' position as the group's primary profit driver, especially amid an uneven global tourism recovery.

Beyond gaming operations, the property maintained stable hotel occupancy rates, even as the average daily room rate rose to over $1,000 per night from $925 a year earlier. Additional support came from revenue growth in retail, dining, and convention segments. At the group level, Las Vegas Sands reported total revenue of $3.59 billion, a 25% increase. Net profit grew by more than half to $641 million, underscoring how the strong performance of the Singapore operations continues to bolster the overall financial results.
