Hong Kong automotive parts stocks advanced against the broader market trend. At the time of writing, MINTH GROUP (00425) rose 5.85% to HK$39.06, JOHNSON ELEC H (00179) gained 3.86% to HK$29.08, NEXTEER (01316) increased 3.54% to HK$5.26, and ZHEJIANG SHIBAO (01057) climbed 3.05% to HK$5.06.

The movement follows significant developments at the 2026 Beijing Auto Show, where "lobster integration" emerged as a major theme. New energy vehicle manufacturers like Li Auto, smart cockpit AI firms such as Banma Zhineng, autonomous driving AI companies including Horizon Robotics, and software delivery specialists like Thundersoft all showcased or launched in-vehicle lobster solutions.

A research report from Kaiyuan Securities stated that the introduction of OpenClaw in 2026 has expanded possibilities for AI Agents, signaling that an interaction revolution in vehicle cockpits has arrived. This transformation presents numerous new opportunities across software, applications, and market participants. As cockpit-driving integration becomes increasingly seamless and demand for cockpit AI grows, combined with cost advantages, integrated cockpit-driving systems are becoming an industry trend. Driven by both supply and demand factors, the sector is poised for continuous upgrading.

The report also highlighted that wire-controlled suspension systems are beginning large-scale vehicle integration, with wire-controlled steering, fully active suspension, and EMB systems scheduled for mass production. The securities firm recommends focusing on opportunities within the autonomous driving industry chain, where perception, decision-making, execution, and operational segments are all expected to benefit significantly.
