TRAD CHI MED (00570) has announced that its subsidiaries, China National Pharmaceutical Group Guangdong Global Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and Guangdong Yifang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., have each received drug registration certificates from the China National Medical Products Administration for their independently developed 3.1-class classical Chinese medicine compound formulations: Peony and Licorice Decoction Granules and Peach Kernel and Rhubarb Decoction Granules, officially approving them for market launch.

The prescription for Peony and Licorice Decoction Granules originates from the "Treatise on Cold Damage Disorders" written by Zhang Zhongjing during the Eastern Han Dynasty. Modern clinical evidence demonstrates that this formulation has significant therapeutic effects for conditions such as neck, shoulder, low back, and leg pain, gastrointestinal diseases, neurological disorders, and skin ailments.

The prescription for Peach Kernel and Rhubarb Decoction Granules also derives from the "Treatise on Cold Damage Disorders." Related research confirms its multiple actions, including anti-inflammatory, anti-thrombotic, neuroprotective, and immune-regulating properties. It possesses confirmed clinical application value in treating diseases such as acute pelvic inflammatory disease, intestinal obstruction, type 2 diabetes, and chronic prostatitis.

During the development process of these products, the group adhered to the R&D philosophy of "restoring a bowl of decoction." It implemented comprehensive quality control throughout the entire process, from the selection of medicinal materials and processing of herbal slices to extraction techniques and dosage form development. Relying on modern pharmaceutical technology, the core active substances of the classical formulas have been preserved to the greatest extent possible.

The successful transformation of these classical formulas into granule dosage forms not only achieves the modern inheritance of traditional prescriptions but also significantly enhances the convenience of medication for patients.
