Individual stock movements among the Magnificent Seven: Alphabet and Meta rose 0.6%, Amazon.com gained 0.3%, Tesla Motors advanced 0.2%, NVIDIA edged up 0.1%, Microsoft remained largely flat, while Apple slipped 0.2%.

As of 5:48 AM New York time, S&P 500 futures were up 0.1%, while Nasdaq 100 futures climbed 0.3%.

The Bloomberg equal-weighted "Magnificent Seven" index has risen 24% year-to-date, following a 67% surge in 2024 and more than doubling in 2023.
