It was also reported that the Market Center previously overseen by Wang has been renamed the User Growth Center, while the Channel Distribution Center has been rebranded as the Distribution Center. These organizational and staffing adjustments are expected to be finalized within April.

In response, NetEase Interactive Entertainment clarified that the online claims about Wang Yi, head of the Interactive Entertainment Market Center, leaving the company are false, and rumors of dismantling the marketing platform are unfounded. The company confirmed that Wang Yi requested a transfer for personal reasons, which has been approved by NetEase.
