LendLease Group's stock price soared 5.15% during intraday trading on Thursday.
The surge followed the company's announcement that it will divest its remaining 25.1% interest in the Keyton Retirement Living Trust to Aware Super for A$525 million. The net proceeds from the sale are planned to be used to reduce group debt, strengthening the company's balance sheet.
The deal is in line with the company's HY26 book value, with completion targeted for the first half of fiscal year 2027. Trading in LendLease Group securities was temporarily paused earlier in the session pending this announcement.
