Enterprises looking to scale their Internet of Things (IoT) deployments globally may now find it easier to do so, thanks to Singtel’s enhanced Multi-Domestic Connectivity solution.

The enhanced offering combines Singtel’s global IoT network with Lenovo Connect’s device connectivity expertise and floLIVE’s cloud-native core and multi-IMSI SIM technology. This provides a single, secure, and regulatory-compliant access point that removes the need to juggle multiple mobile operator agreements, SIM platforms, and billing systems.

Singtel’s Aggregator Connectivity Management Platform (CMP) further streamlines operations, offering a unified portal that simplifies integration and gives enterprises full control and visibility over their global IoT footprint.

By combining the Multi-Domestic Connectivity solution with CMP, enterprises can centrally manage local connectivity with seamless switching between mobile networks via multi-IMSI and the latest eSIM IoT Standards - eUICC (SGP.32). They can also easily manage and update devices remotely due to the built-in support of the latest global standards for eSIM technology.

Moreover, they can better manage the end-to-end lifecycle of SIMs and devices across multiple CMPs and gain real-time visibility, control, and diagnostics for superior device performance.

According to Singtel, this new offering will help address automotive original equipment manufacturers’ (OEMs) growing need for real-time services such as over-the-air updates, smart navigation, advanced diagnostics, and in-car infotainment.

It will also streamline enterprise operations, accelerate their time-to-market for new features, and ensure consistent service delivery across various markets.

The Singtel enhanced Multi-Domestic Connectivity solution covers over 190 markets, including China, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas.

“Having laid the foundation with investments in network infrastructure, edge computing, and global partnerships as part of our larger IoT growth strategy, we’re now offering an enhanced Multi-Domestic Connectivity solution to handle the complexities of next-generation IoT applications. We want to enable intelligent, borderless mobility for the future — while laying the groundwork for broader IoT transformation across sectors like healthcare, logistics, industrial automation, retail and smart cities,” says Ng Tian Chong, CEO, Singtel Singapore.

Since 2022, Singtel has helped enterprises navigate local regulatory requirements across Asia Pacific through localised IoT connectivity solutions. Its partnership with Verizon, for instance, enables enterprises to activate IoT devices internationally using Singtel’s networks in the region.

Beyond connectivity, Singtel also supports advanced IoT deployments with 5G RedCap for mid-tier devices such as wearables and industrial sensors, and platforms like Paragon, its AI-enhanced orchestration system that assures app performance at the edge.
