On July 30, GIGADEVICE rose 3.21% in regular trading, trading at HKD 454.2/share, with turnover of HKD 236 million. The rebound follows a series of confidence-boosting measures announced by the company the previous evening after shares had plunged over 55% during the month.

Chairman Zhu Yiming disclosed plans to purchase no less than RMB 1 billion worth of A-shares through centralized bidding and block trades between December 2026 and July 2027. Simultaneously, he proposed the company repurchase RMB 1 billion to 2 billion of A-shares for cancellation to enhance shareholder value. Zhu also pledged not to reduce his holdings for the next 12 months. As of the announcement date, Zhu and his concert party Hong Kong Win Riched Limited collectively hold approximately 47.7 million shares, representing 6.80% of total share capital.

Notably, these measures come after the completion of Zhu's prior reduction plan, through which he sold approximately 11.11 million shares between May 6 and June 12 for total proceeds of RMB 4.4 billion at prices ranging from RMB 339.44 to RMB 538.90 per share. The buyback proposal still requires board and shareholder approval.
