Reddit (RDDT.US) Chief Executive Officer Steve Huffman has cashed in approximately $2.77 million through the sale of Class A shares, a move that has quickly drawn market attention and become a key focal point for capital flows within the social media sector.

According to the transaction details, Huffman filed documents with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on September 17 through the XYZ Revocable Trust, disclosing that the sell-down was executed under a 10b5-1 trading plan established on May 20, 2026. Data shows he first exercised options to acquire 17,308 shares at $25.29 per share, then sold them through multiple transactions with weighted average execution prices ranging between $158.21 and $163.64 per share, reflecting a clear compliance process and well-defined price parameters.

In terms of market reaction, Reddit (RDDT.US) shares experienced volatility on the New York Stock Exchange. At the close of regular trading on Thursday, the stock settled at $152.83, down 3.03%, while in after-hours trading it edged up 0.0067% to $152.84. Compared to historical extremes, the current price sits well below the 52-week high of $282.95 but remains above the 52-week low of $119.27, with continued active trading following Friday's market open.

From a fundamental perspective, Reddit (RDDT.US), a community-centric online platform, currently holds a market capitalization of approximately $29.4 billion. However, over the past 12 months, its share price has declined by 43.54%, significantly underperforming several technology stocks. Despite being featured on lists of top investment candidates, the stock's high volatility and substantial annual pullback continue to keep investors cautious regarding its medium-term trajectory.
