Changsha Huanghua International Airport stated on July 31 that since the beginning of this year, the airport has been steadily increasing flights to ASEAN countries. New routes to Manila, Yangon, and Ho Chi Minh City have been launched, while the frequency of three popular international routes to Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, and Singapore has been increased. Services to Hanoi, Phnom Penh, and Vientiane continue to operate stably, fully meeting the diverse travel needs between the region and ASEAN nations.

From August 1 to 27, Scoot, a subsidiary of the Singapore Airlines Group, will increase its Changsha-Singapore flights from five per week to one daily. As of now, the Changsha-Singapore route has transported 72,000 passengers this year, with an average load factor of 82%.

By 2026, Changsha Huanghua International Airport will have connected to 15 countries and regions. Among these, there are 12 routes under the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP). This year, the airport's top three international routes by passenger volume are all RCEP routes. The Changsha-Kuala Lumpur route is the busiest and most frequent international service at Changsha Airport, with up to four flights daily in July. The Changsha-Bangkok route has transported 111,000 passengers this year, maintaining strong demand even during the off-season. The Changsha-Seoul route has seen 94,000 passengers this year, with an average load factor of 81%.
