CHINASOFT INT'L (00354) surged over 6% in early trading. As of press time, the stock was up 5.5% to HK$6.12, with trading volume reaching HK$496 million.

On the news front, at the Ascend Computing Industry Development Summit on August 5, Huawei's rotating chairman Xu Zhijun announced that Huawei's Ascend hardware enabling CANN would be fully open-sourced. The commercialization process of the Ascend ecosystem is accelerating, particularly in the finance, energy, and manufacturing sectors. As of May 2025, Ascend has developed over 6.65 million developers, more than 8,800 partners, and completed over 23,900 solution certifications.

Additionally, the Cyberspace Administration recently summoned NVIDIA regarding H20 chip security risks. Securities analysts suggest that from a medium to long-term perspective, investors should firmly position themselves in core domestic substitution tracks, with particular focus on the Ascend industrial chain.

Securities research indicates that CHINASOFT INT'L maintains long-term comprehensive cooperation with Huawei spanning from basic software and hardware, AI platforms, intelligent agents to industry applications. The company has been Huawei Cloud's "mutual support" partner for seven consecutive years, with both parties engaging in multi-dimensional deep cooperation in collaborative innovation, ecosystem co-construction, and industry empowerment.
