At the Bund Summit's health industry development forum in Shanghai, Ant Group's Vice President and head of its health business unit, Zhang Junjie, revealed that the Ant Afu app has surpassed 150 million users, processing nearly 20 million daily health consultations. The company also announced an increased commitment to its health strategy, expanding services from weight management into five key areas including exercise, diet, sleep, and mental wellness, alongside the launch of a dedicated health section on the app's homepage.
The redesigned homepage enhances service accessibility by clearly presenting three primary entry points: the Afu chat interface, health features, and medical services. Users can engage with the AI through voice or text conversations within the chat window, which automatically activates various health and medical services, or they can directly access specific sections for immediate assistance. Within the health segment, users can connect wearable devices like watches and fitness bands, or log dietary information to track over ten health metrics including weight and sleep patterns, receiving comprehensive health scores alongside personalized analysis and recommendations.
Furthermore, Ant Afu has introduced several service solutions including "AI Photo Diet Tracking," "AI Energy Management," and "AI Weight Loss Coaching," designed to provide users with accessible entry points to professional health services such as dietary improvements and scientifically-backed weight management programs.
