On June 22, Starbucks made its fourth consecutive appearance at the China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE).

This year, the company's exhibition theme is "Local Innovation, Chain Creates the Future," where Starbucks baristas will showcase high-quality Yunnan coffee and a variety of innovative beverages.

In April of this year, Starbucks officially initiated a strategic partnership with Boyu Investment.

Public information shows that in 2012, Starbucks established its first Coffee Farmer Support Center in Asia-Pacific in Pu'er, Yunnan, providing local farmers with complimentary, professional training in sustainable cultivation.

The company innovatively introduced a "Premium Price for Premium Quality" initiative, purchasing beans at prices 20-30% above the market average and offering additional rewards for high-quality beans.

The pass rate for Yunnan coffee beans meeting Starbucks' stringent quality tests has increased from 20% in 2012 to 80% today.

Now, every cup of classic Starbucks espresso sold in the Chinese mainland market contains high-quality Yunnan coffee beans, and every Starbucks store in the region sells Yunnan single-origin beans on a long-term basis.

Since 2017, Starbucks has released an annual Starbucks Reserve coffee sourced from Yunnan.

At this year's expo, Starbucks showcased its creative new Starbucks Rose 20 Series, which has garnered widespread attention and positive feedback since its initial launch last year.

In the flower's region of origin, Starbucks protects purchase prices, establishes long-term partnerships with growers, procures over 600 million roses annually, and benefits more than 2,400 flower farming households.

Regarding carbon emissions, by 2025, Starbucks aims to collaborate with Envision Group to gradually cover 100% of its direct suppliers and key indirect suppliers through an innovative digital carbon management platform.

This platform will accurately calculate the full-chain carbon footprint of thousands of Starbucks product items in China and customize decarbonization pathways.

In sustainable dairy, Starbucks and Envision are jointly developing a digital management tool for Starbucks China's sustainable dairy industry.

Currently, Starbucks has initiated a sustainable pilot program with six major dairy farms: optimizing energy management by procuring green power and constructing photovoltaic facilities, while also adjusting feed formulas and additives and implementing precision feeding.
