During the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, the Hangzhou Grand Convention and Exhibition Center was one of the liveliest venues in the city.

The 5th Global Digital Trade Expo, the only national-level international professional exhibition in China themed on digital trade, built a multi-tiered global dialogue arena.

EEG curves rose and fell gently on screens, exoskeleton joints flexed softly with gait, and AI tongue diagnosis devices produced a traditional Chinese medicine constitution assessment report within tens of seconds. From cellular microscopy and cardiac ablation to brain-computer interaction, digital traditional Chinese medicine, and domestic beauty products, overseas and domestic medical giants shared the stage with local innovative science and technology enterprises. All parties cast their gazes upon one another, driving the big health industry toward a proactive and precise new paradigm.

Through this window, one could see that Chinese innovation is seen by the world here, global innovation is seen by China here, and cutting-edge technology is seen by ordinary people here. These three kinds of seeing, progressive layer by layer, interweave into a network of interconnection, exchange, and mutual learning. Foreign visitors try domestic beauty products. Local innovative science and technology enterprises take the stage: Chinese technology faces global buyers

Walking into the digital intelligence medical exhibition area, the booth of Chengti Technology attracted many international buyers and visitors who stopped to observe. Many visitors lined up on site to try on lightweight exoskeletons, simulating scenarios of going up and down stairs to feel the life changes brought by technological armor.

This assistive exoskeleton is lighter than I imagined. After putting it on, walking feels much easier, especially when going upstairs. I can imagine that wearing it to climb mountains would be like walking on flat ground, an elderly visitor at the scene said after the experience.

In our view, the value of exoskeleton technology lies not only in breakthroughs in a single product, but also in empowering multiple scenarios through platform-based capabilities. We hope that through the international window of the Digital Trade Expo, global partners can see the ability of Chinese exoskeleton technology to land in all scenarios including medical rehabilitation, walking assistance in daily life, and industrial burden reduction, said Wang Tian, founder and CEO of Chengti Technology. The biomedical track was also a major hotspot at the exhibition. On site, the AI AutoVision chromosome karyotype image-assisted diagnostic software exhibited by Deshi Technology drew industry attention. Through AI, it automatically completes chromosome segmentation, arrangement, and abnormality prompts, alleviating problems such as low efficiency and cumbersome operation in traditional manual image reading, and shortening the analysis cycle for a single sample from about 30 days traditionally to as fast as 4 to 7 days.

The boundaries of innovation extend to interdisciplinary technology transfer. Walking into the Silk Road e-commerce exhibition area, the booth of domestic beauty brand Florasis was very popular.

This time we brought a multidimensional holographic AI sensory behavior research system, equipped with medical- and neuroscience-grade cutting-edge technology, multimodal real-time sensory decoding technology, which can simultaneously collect sensory data such as EEG, eye movement trajectories, and micro-expressions, achieving results in seconds and providing precise data support for product research and development, said Zeng Min, general manager of public affairs at Yige Beauty Group, the parent company of Florasis.

The Digital Trade Expo is a window for the public to touch future technology, and it also shows the outside world the imagination of China's cross-disciplinary scientific and technological innovation.

Global solutions land: cutting-edge technology connects with Chinese clinical practice

Displaying on the same stage is not one-way output of achievements. Overseas medical enterprises appeared at the Digital Trade Expo with top technologies, bringing globally mature innovations to China, seeking local clinical scenarios and industrial partners, and completing localized adaptation of technology through supply-demand matching, realizing two-way flow of global medical resources.

The treasure of the digital intelligence medical exhibition area went to Medtronic's Affera three-dimensional mapping and ablation integrated system. This set of equipment can complete heart lesion localization, ablation treatment, and efficacy verification in one stop, improving the efficiency and precision of minimally invasive cardiac surgery. During the finals of the Global Brain-Computer Interface x Medical Insurance Innovation Scenario Competition held during the Digital Trade Expo, Medtronic's Percept implantable adaptive deep brain neurostimulation system project won the Frontier Technology Breakthrough Award. By automatically identifying optimal therapeutic contacts, collecting and analyzing EEG signals in real time, and dynamically adjusting treatment parameters according to real-time disease status, the system builds a complete closed loop of perception-analysis-feedback-regulation, aiming to provide individualized, adaptive diagnosis and treatment plans for patients with Parkinson's disease, essential tremor, dystonia, and epilepsy.

The Digital Trade Expo is not only an important window for displaying global digital trade achievements, but also a high-level platform for promoting cross-border cooperation and ecological co-building in digital intelligence healthcare, said Deng Jian, vice president of business operations services for Medtronic Greater China. Relying on China Strategy 3.0, the company continues to promote the connection of global innovation resources with China's clinical needs, work with local partners to explore paths for landing AI healthcare, and let globally cutting-edge therapies serve Chinese patients. AstraZeneca also brought full-cycle digital healthcare solutions for tumors, respiratory diseases, and metabolic diseases. Products such as AR lung function testing and MMC metabolic management centers extend chronic disease management scenarios from hospitals to homes. Global cutting-edge technologies are landing and exchanging here, calibrating with local industrial chains and clinical needs, and creating new space for cooperation. Technology leaves the laboratory: cutting-edge health technology faces public experience

The innovative dialogue of big health does not only occur among enterprises, experts, and multinational buyers. The exhibition breaks the professional barriers of cutting-edge technology, delivering next-generation health technology to ordinary visitors for firsthand perception, extending industrial transformation from industry papers and prototype development to the daily health landscape of ordinary people.

The proactive health section is a major experience venue for the public. Walking into the booth of Zhejiang Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine, visitors lined up to experience 120-second AI tongue and pulse diagnosis screening. Relying on a vertical large model of traditional Chinese medicine and massive clinical data, the device can quickly complete constitution identification. In addition to massage robots usable in clinical practice and a full-life-cycle health management system, the hospital also exhibited lifestyle-oriented traditional Chinese medicine products such as dark plum drink tea, traditional Chinese medicine sachets, and medicinal diet mooncakes, promoting the integration of traditional Chinese medicine into daily life through digital means.

On site, moxibustion robots and AI constitution analyzers were also popular among visitors, allowing digital traditional Chinese medicine to leap out of medical institutions and become health tools within easy reach of ordinary people. Buyers explore business opportunities, clinical practitioners assess technological value, and ordinary people directly feel how technology changes healthy living. The technical exploration on the industrial side and ordinary people's expectations for healthy living complete a face-to-face dialogue here, and the experiences and feedback of different groups in turn provide references from real scenarios for technology iteration and product refinement.

This global dialogue arena built by the Digital Trade Expo allows people from different countries, different identities, and different ages to meet here, and in the process of seeing each other's innovations, jointly seek more future possibilities for big health.
