Stock Track | Vicor Plummets 5.34% Intraday as Insider Selling Triggers Technical Correction After 30% Rally

Vicor Corporation's stock plummeted 5.34% during intraday trading on Friday, marking a significant pullback from recent highs. The decline represents a technical correction following a period of substantial gains for the power module manufacturer.

The stock had surged over 30% in recent sessions after the company raised its second-quarter revenue guidance to $142 million, significantly exceeding analyst expectations. However, this rally was met with selling pressure from company insiders, with Director D'Amico Andrew selling shares and Director Tuozzolo Claudio selling 3,000 shares at elevated prices.

The combination of sustained insider selling across multiple directors and concentrated profit-taking by momentum traders created downward pressure on the stock. This pattern of executive disposals, which began earlier in May, compounded the natural profit-taking that typically follows such sharp rallies, resulting in the technical correction observed during Friday's trading session.
