Li Auto Inc. (Li Auto-W) disclosed that it repurchased 313,400 Class A WVR ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 3 September 2026, deploying HK$14.56 million in cash. The shares were bought at prices ranging from HK$46.22 to HK$46.72, translating into a volume-weighted average cost of HK$46.47 per share.

Following the transaction, Li Auto’s outstanding share count (excluding treasury shares) slipped by 0.02% to 1.72 billion shares, down from 1.72 billion previously. The company’s treasury stock increased to 95.22 million shares, while total issued shares remained unchanged at 1.82 billion because the repurchased shares are being held in treasury rather than cancelled.

The 3 September purchase was made under the buyback mandate granted on 29 May 2026, which authorises the company to repurchase up to 214.28 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 75.63 million shares, representing 35.29% of the authorised limit.

In line with exchange regulations, Li Auto is subject to a 30-day moratorium on issuing new shares or selling treasury shares, lasting through 3 October 2026.
