SOUTH MANGANESE (01091) announced its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2025. The group achieved revenue of HK$2.912 billion, representing a decrease of 49.2% year-on-year. Profit attributable to owners of the company for the period was HK$173 million, compared to a loss of HK$163 million in the same period last year. Basic earnings per share were HK$0.0473. According to the announcement, the decrease in revenue was primarily due to lower sales revenue from trading operations. Due to the recognition of impairment losses of HK$109 million on receivables from Dushan Jinmeng in the first half of 2024, the profit attributable to owners of the company for the first half of 2025 was HK$173 million (first half of 2024: loss of HK$163 million).
