LYGEND RESOURCE (02245) has announced that all production lines at the KPS Project, part of the RKEF Phase II, officially achieved full design capacity on August 1, 2026, marking a complete ramp-up to nameplate capacity.
The RKEF project, a joint venture with Indonesian partners on Obi Island, consists of two phases. The KPS Project within Phase II includes 12 production lines with an annual design capacity of 185,000 metric tons of nickel in ferronickel. Full production at KPS signifies that all lines of the company's Obi Project are now operating at full capacity, with a stable annual production capability of 400,000 metric tons of nickel.
With the completion of the Obi Project's ramp-up, the company's overall economies of scale are further enhanced. This establishes a solid foundation for deepening cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and resource optimization, which will strongly boost the company's profitability and industry influence.
