At the opening bell on July 24, 2026, most domestic futures contracts traded higher, with SC crude oil surging over 6%. Fuel oil and styrene (EB) both rose more than 3%. Pure benzene, low-sulfur fuel oil (LU), asphalt, synthetic rubber, and ethylene glycol (EG) advanced by over 2%.
On the downside, silver fell nearly 4%, while platinum and palladium declined more than 3%. Gold dropped over 2%, international copper fell nearly 2%, and copper, tin, and glass lost more than 1%.
