Jefferies released a research report stating that DAMAI ENT (01060) announced a profit forecast for the first half of fiscal year 2026, expecting net profit to reach no less than RMB 500 million, surpassing market and the firm's expectations. This growth was primarily driven by strong performance in the Aliyu business. Jefferies maintained a "Buy" rating with a target price of HK$1.40.

Jefferies noted that the profit growth was mainly driven by the following factors: outstanding performance in the Aliyu business, with both revenue and profit recording robust year-on-year growth, as well as improved asset structure. DAMAI ENT emphasized the sustained healthy growth of its core operations and plans to expand its presence in the diversified entertainment sector using its cash reserves.
