The first JD Mall in Guizhou province opened its doors in Guiyang, marking a significant milestone for the region's retail landscape.

On November 6, the Guiyang JD Mall located on Zunyi Road in Nanming District began a ten-day soft opening period. As the first self-operated JD.com (NASDAQ: JD) store in Guizhou, the project spans 40,000 square meters of commercial space and covers diverse categories including home appliances, home furnishings, and 3C digital products, bringing together more than 200 brands and over 200,000 types of merchandise, injecting fresh momentum into the consumer market of the district and the broader Guiyang area.

On the first day of the soft opening, six themed experience zones drew large crowds, including a coffee workshop, a culinary workshop, a family gaming area, a gold-listed honors area, a personal care and health zone, and a 5V5 esports area. Many customers were able to experience product performance in real-life scenarios, enjoying a one-stop home setup service where what you see is what you get.

During the soft opening period, Guiyang JD Mall will roll out a series of interactive activities such as a city burger festival, a gift box promotion event, and a Didi Chuxing scratch-and-win campaign, alongside themed events including a dazzling music festival, brand roadshows, lucky draws, and pet-themed activities. The mall will also host new product launches and special experience exhibitions from brands such as Ecovacs, Casarte, Ronshen, and BSH.

Leveraging the peak consumption season of Double 11, the mall has introduced seven major benefits, including the national trade-in subsidy, lucky draws for pre-deposited spending, gifts for reaching spending thresholds, check-in gifts, coffee and baking interactive experiences, and the use of provincial housing purchase consumption vouchers in-store.

To further sustain the momentum of experience and consumption, the store will hold its official grand opening during the Double 12 period, featuring a celebrity music festival, esports challenges, a robot show, and special coffee and baking experiences, continuously stimulating new momentum for regional consumption with a richer mix of offerings and immersive experiences.
