CLSA Steps Down as Global Coordinator for Amlogic's Hong Kong Listing

On September 22, Amlogic (Shanghai) Co.,Ltd. (688099.SH) announced that its board has confirmed CLSA Securities Limited will no longer serve as a global coordinator, effective September 21, 2026. As of the announcement date, the company has appointed CICC and Haitong International as its global coordinators for the Hong Kong listing process.

The company, a leading system-on-chip designer, submitted its listing application to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange twice, on September 25, 2025, and April 12, 2026, respectively, with CICC and Haitong International serving as joint sponsors. Amlogic has already secured the filing notice from the China Securities Regulatory Commission for overseas listing, planning to issue up to 53,815,500 overseas listed ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Specializing in intelligent terminal control and connectivity solutions for smart home, smart office, smart mobility, entertainment and education, and industrial production scenarios, Amlogic offers advanced chips including smart multimedia and display SoC main controllers, AIoT SoC main controllers, communication and connectivity chips, and intelligent automotive SoC chips. According to a Frost & Sullivan report, based on 2024 revenue, Amlogic ranked fourth globally among manufacturers focused on smart terminal SoC chips, holding a 1.2% market share, and secured the top position in mainland China and second place globally in the home smart terminal SoC chip segment, with approximately 17.7% of the global market share.
