SouthGobi postpones special shareholders’ meeting; March 2026 Deferral Agreement deadline extended to 30 Sep 2026

SouthGobi Resources Ltd. announced that the special meeting of shareholders initially set for 27 Aug 2026 in Vancouver (28 Aug 2026 Hong Kong time) and its related record date will be postponed.

The company cited the need for additional time to finalize the Management Proxy Circular and accompanying materials, particularly the disclosure relating to the March 2026 Deferral Agreement.

Under that agreement, all parties have consented to extend the deadline for securing TSX Venture Exchange acceptance and independent shareholder approval to 30 Sep 2026.

SouthGobi stated it will release the rescheduled meeting and record dates in a subsequent announcement.
