CANSINOBIO (06185) climbed more than 10% intraday, with shares last trading up 8.71% at HK$31.96, on turnover of HK$238 million.

Last month, the company announced that its subsidiary, Cansino Shanghai, formally signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Depusheng Biotech for the co-development of personalized mRNA therapeutic cancer vaccines. The two parties will leverage their respective strengths in mRNA vaccine technology and tumor neoantigen discovery and design to jointly advance the research, development, and commercialization of personalized mRNA-based therapeutic cancer vaccines.

This collaboration targets the global market, focusing on treatment for digestive tract solid tumors and rare cancers, and covers the full spectrum from early-stage research, clinical translation, and regulatory filing to commercialization.

Notably, Moderna, the high-flying vaccine stock in the U.S., has seen its shares rally over the past two sessions. The company announced that abstracts for three studies on intismeran autogene, an investigational personalized mRNA neoantigen therapy being co-developed with Merck, have been accepted for presentation at the 2026 European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Congress, scheduled for October 23-27 in Madrid.

Market observers believe that with Moderna's personalized tumor mRNA vaccine achieving positive results in Phase III clinical trials, mRNA cancer vaccines are moving toward the commercialization stage, and the market potential is expected to gradually unlock.
