On June 17, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology released a series of measures aimed at enhancing the quality and efficiency of industrial enterprises.

The document, titled "Several Measures of Beijing Municipality on Supporting the Improvement of Quality and Efficiency of Industrial Enterprises," includes provisions to promote intelligent upgrades within the industrial sector.

It calls for guiding industrial enterprises to deepen cooperation with industrial internet platform companies and artificial intelligence model developers. This collaboration is intended to accelerate the transformation of enterprise application models towards platform-based design, intelligent production, networked collaboration, and digitalized management.

To address challenges enterprises face in accessing computing power, implementing applications, and enhancing capabilities, the measures focus on optimizing the deployment of computing resources and enriching the supply of affordable, inclusive computing services.

A key initiative involves supporting enterprises in purchasing and utilizing tokens for artificial intelligence applications. Eligible companies will receive financial subsidies based on their actual consumption and usage of these tokens.
