To act on national and regional plans aimed at boosting consumption quality and scale, as well as advancing the trade-in of green and smart home appliances, the county's commerce bureau and labor union, together with JD.com, are set to launch a special appliance promotion event. The initiative, branded under the national subsidy framework, is designed for employees of local government bodies and enterprises, delivering tangible discounts and convenience while injecting fresh momentum into appliance spending.
The event, titled the 2026 Consumer Goods Trade-In in Commercial Zones: Mid-Autumn and National Day Appliance Promotion, will run from September 25 to October 7, 2026, at the JD.com Home Appliance and Furnishings store located at 57 Wenquan Avenue, Erhai Central Plaza, Xiangzhou County.
Participation is open to staff members of all county-level government agencies, public institutions, and enterprises, along with their family members.
The promotion covers renowned appliance brands including Midea, Little Swan, Haier, Casarte, Hisense, TCL, Gree, Aux, and Skyworth, as well as home furnishing names such as TCL smart locks and Kaadas. All products will be physically displayed for hands-on testing before purchase, allowing shoppers to update their appliances and home furnishings in one stop, saving both effort and money while elevating their quality of life.
Subsidies will stack three layers: national, manufacturer, and store discounts. Products eligible are those meeting national standards for first-tier energy or water efficiency, with the national subsidy capped at 1,500 yuan per item. Each consumer can claim the subsidy for one unit per product category, and all discounts are applied instantly on-site.
Four rebate formats are offered: trade-in, combined manufacturer and enterprise discounts, ultra-low deals, and on-site gifts. For refrigerators, washing machines, televisions, and kitchen appliances such as range hoods and stoves, the combined subsidy of 15% from the national program, 10% from manufacturers, and 5% from the store yields up to 30% off. For air conditioners, the stack of 15% national, 5% manufacturer, and 5% store subsidies provides up to 25% savings.
As a bonus, attendees during the event period can present employee credentials or registration information to receive a complimentary gift, limited to one per person on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
