Scholar Education Group announced that the trustee of its share award scheme purchased 338,000 shares on-market on 30 June 2026. The transaction represents approximately 0.05% of issued share capital and was executed at an average price of HK$0.98 per share, bringing the cash consideration to about HK$0.33 million.

Following the purchase, the trustee’s holding rises to 33.71 million shares, equivalent to 5.00% of the company’s total shares in issue. Management reiterated that the current market price materially undervalues Scholar Education’s fundamentals and views the repurchase as an opportunity to secure stock for future grants under the scheme.

The board will continue to monitor market conditions and decide on further purchases and subsequent share awards at its discretion, in line with the terms of the existing share award scheme and trust deed.
