BExcellent appoints co-founder Ng King Hang as Executive Director, effective 1 August 2026

BExcellent Group Holdings Limited announced that co-founder Mr. Ng King Hang, aged 62, will join the Board as an Executive Director from 1 August 2026. Under Article 83(3) of the company’s Articles of Association, his initial Board term will run until the first annual general meeting following the appointment, at which he will be eligible for re-election.

Mr. Ng has been part of the Group since co-founding Beacon College in 1989 and currently serves as Chief Academic Director. His academic background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (1989), a Master of Applied Linguistics (2013) and a Doctor of Education (2025) from the University of Hong Kong. Professionally, he has over three decades of teaching and curriculum-development experience, ranging from secondary education to IELTS preparation and academic staff training.

The company has entered into a three-year service agreement with Mr. Ng, renewable thereafter. Remuneration comprises a monthly salary of HK$0.14 million and a discretionary bonus determined by the Board with reference to market conditions and individual performance.

As of the announcement date, Mr. Ng is deemed interested in 375 million shares, representing approximately 70.40 % of BExcellent’s issued share capital, through concert-party arrangements with other core shareholders.

The appointment does not alter the composition of the Group’s nomination, remuneration or audit committees. The Board extended a formal welcome to Mr. Ng and highlighted expectations for his leadership in advancing the Group’s international curricula and AI-driven learning initiatives.
