On February 10, the inauguration ceremony for the second "Beat the Drum, Dance the Dragon" Urumqi Shehuo performance series was held at the Urumqi Cultural Center. Traditional acts including dragon and lion dances, yangko drum performances, and Meshrep routines took turns showcasing on stage. The event will span three months, featuring over 100 performance troupes and more than 7,500 folk artists, aiming to create a citywide, shared Spring Festival celebration.
