Recently, the 2025 Automotive Quality Excellence Factory selection results were jointly released by Car Quality Network and Kaijun Saichi Consulting. Out of 596 vehicle manufacturing plants nationwide, only ten were recognized as industry benchmarks, including BYD Company Limited's Jinan plant. The selection was based on a comprehensive evaluation using a multi-dimensional data model incorporating quality complaints, sales volume, and user feedback, representing the highest quality standards in China's current automotive manufacturing sector. Vehicles produced by BYD Company Limited's Jinan plant have gained recognition from users and the market for their outstanding product quality, earning the inaugural Automotive Quality Excellence Factory honor.

Chinese Influence in Global Standardization: BYD Joins IATF Not long ago, BYD COMPANY officially joined the International Automotive Task Force (IATF). As a global leader in new energy vehicles, BYD will now participate in formulating international core standards alongside international automotive giants such as Volkswagen and General Motors. As a leading global enterprise in new energy vehicles, BYD was nominated by the Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) and successfully passed a vote by all IATF members, joining this core standard-setting circle long dominated by European and American automakers.

Established in 1999, the IATF's IATF 16949 standard has established a unified "quality management language" for the global automotive supply chain, serving as a "passport" for entering the international automotive supply chain. BYD's inclusion marks a shift for the Chinese automotive industry from "volume accumulation" to "technology leadership." As Zhao Jianping, BYD Vice President and Chief Quality Officer, stated, "Becoming a core IATF member is not only full affirmation by an international authoritative organization of BYD's development philosophy of 'technology first, innovation-based,' but also a significant milestone for the Chinese automotive industry." This means BYD will work alongside giants like Volkswagen and General Motors to integrate China's new energy vehicle technological innovations and quality management experience into the optimization and upgrading of global automotive regulations.

Empowered by an Excellent Factory: The Quality Testament of the Denza N8L From participating in global standard setting to obtaining national-level certification and winning market acclaim from users, BYD has built a comprehensive quality advantage from the top level down to the end product. The Denza N8L, one of the main models produced at this plant, is the most direct product of this high-standard manufacturing system. Within this benchmark factory, the Denza N8L benefits from full-process automation across the four major processes of stamping, welding, painting, and final assembly. It is supported by a series of leading technologies, including robotic feeding and inspection, robotic precision welding inspection, full-process automatic pollution control, and modular robotic assembly, which provide technical support for the vehicle's overall quality. This further strengthens the trust foundation for family users regarding vehicle safety and reliability.

From representing Chinese automakers in global standard setting to having its plants receive national quality authority recognition, and with models like the Denza N8L earning market praise, BYD is deploying a progressive "quality combination" strategy. This approach is establishing manufacturing excellence originating from China as a vital force driving the evolution of the global automotive industry, offering the world smarter and more reliable mobility solutions.
