On the evening of June 3, XPeng Inc. Chairman and CEO He Xiaopeng addressed rumors during a live broadcast concerning the popular XPeng GX model. He explicitly refuted online claims that customers could pay an extra 20,000 yuan to jump the queue for vehicle delivery, labeling such statements as false.

He Xiaopeng emphasized that XPeng does not engage in the practice of allowing customers to pay extra for priority delivery. The delivery sequence for the GX model strictly follows the order in which customers placed their reservations.

In response to the sustained high demand for the GX since its launch two weeks ago, He Xiaopeng conducted the live broadcast from the factory producing the GX to address user concerns regarding delivery timelines.

It was reported that XPeng has established a "special task force" dedicated to overseeing and accelerating the ramp-up of the GX supply chain capacity. The company is urgently adding new molds for critical components to steadily increase production output.

Furthermore, during the broadcast, He Xiaopeng also took on the role of a test driver, personally conducting a series of rigorous road tests on newly assembled GX vehicles to validate their driving performance.

He also revealed that the XPeng GX undergoes over 200 more quality inspection items than the industry average.
