On September 21, the new international flight route Changchun ⇆ Haikou ⇆ Singapore, operated by Hainan Airlines, was officially launched. The service operates four flights per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

The inaugural flight departed from Singapore and arrived safely in Changchun at 15:15 on September 21. The route operates using a transit model with a stopover in Haikou. Flights departing from Changchun take off at 16:55 and arrive in Singapore at 03:10 the following day. Return flights from Singapore depart at 04:40 and arrive back in Changchun at 15:15 on the same day.
