On Tuesday, Nokia Oyj (NOK.US) saw its stock climb more than 6% in early trading, reaching $10.67 per share. This upward movement follows the company's announcement on September 8 regarding the launch of its new Mobile Core Early Access program.

Mobile Core Early Access is a live, hosted environment designed to provide a close-up view of the software powering advanced network connectivity in the AI era. The initiative is open to telecom operators and enterprises worldwide, with the goal of shortening the journey from technical awareness to informed planning, validation, and adoption.

This program stands out as the first of its kind to offer a real-time, hosted end-to-end environment where users can combine radio and terminal equipment to explore the latest mobile core network capabilities and use cases. By providing this hands-on experience, Nokia aims to give customers a practical way to evaluate innovations before making deployment decisions.

Kal De, Senior Vice President of Nokia's Core Networks business, emphasized the importance of this initiative, stating, "The pace of mobile technology innovation continues to accelerate, and operators need more than presentations and demos to make confident technology choices. Mobile Core Early Access offers a pragmatic way to experience the latest mobile core innovations in a live environment. By bringing capabilities to customers earlier, we help them reduce uncertainty and move faster from exploration to deployment."
