AtriCure's stock surged 8.85% in after-hours trading following the release of its first-quarter financial results, which significantly exceeded analyst expectations.
The medical device maker reported quarterly revenue of $141.2 million, beating the consensus estimate of $139.8 million. Adjusted EBITDA came in at $17.1 million, substantially above the expected $14.6 million, and the company swung to a net income of $0.1 million from a loss in the prior year. Gross margin also expanded to 77.4%.
Driving investor optimism, AtriCure raised its full-year 2026 guidance, projecting revenue between $600 million and $610 million and adjusted EBITDA of $80 million to $82 million. The company attributed its strong performance to increased adoption of key products like AtriClip and cryoSPHERE devices, along with international growth.
