09/08

On 8 September 2026, China Starch Holdings Limited repurchased 0.73 million ordinary shares on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong, paying a total of HKD 0.12 million. The volume-weighted average price was HKD 0.1702 per share, within a daily trading range of HKD 0.168 to HKD 0.171.

Following the transaction: • Outstanding shares (excluding treasury stock) fell 0.01 % to 5.78 billion. • Treasury shares rose to 34.41 million from 33.68 million. • Total issued shares remained unchanged at 5.81 billion, as the repurchased shares were retained as treasury shares rather than cancelled.

The buy-back formed part of the mandate approved at the 12 May 2026 shareholders’ meeting, which authorises China Starch to repurchase up to 596.45 million shares. Including the latest transaction, cumulative repurchases under this mandate stand at 164.51 million shares, equivalent to 2.76 % of the company’s issued share capital on the mandate date.

Hong Kong listing rules impose a 30-day moratorium on new share issues or sales of treasury shares following the repurchase, restricting such activities until 8 October 2026.
