Adara Technologies and Aurora Networks, a business unit of Vistance Networks, have announced a strategic partnership to jointly launch a managed Distributed Access Architecture and Passive Optical Network platform. This initiative aims to accelerate the deployment of next-generation multi-gigabit broadband services. Concurrently, Aurora Networks's portfolio of DAA and PON solutions is now available through Adara Technologies.

This collaboration merges Aurora Networks's technical expertise in broadband access solutions with Adara's capabilities in cloud-native managed platforms and managed services. Adara also gains cost-saving advantages, which help simplify network operations for service providers.

The jointly offered platform is unified and access-technology-agnostic, supporting both standalone PON fiber deployments and hybrid fiber-coaxial Distributed Access Architecture. Key features of the platform include: support for a vendor-neutral, cost-effective migration path from DOCSIS 3.0 to 50G PON; enabling the utilization of existing infrastructure across technologies to minimize stranded capital investment; and providing cloud-based self-service automated provisioning for environments such as hospitality, multi-dwelling units, and temporary services.

Alesio Cicchelli, Chief Revenue Officer of Adara Technologies, stated that the partnership with Aurora Networks combines its industry-leading access technology with Adara's managed platform and over two decades of bandwidth recovery experience. This enables operators to modernize their networks with greater flexibility, lower operational costs, and reduced investment risk, while simultaneously creating new revenue opportunities and improving return on investment.

The managed DAA/PON platform will be showcased at the NCTC & ACA Connects "Independent Show" in Orlando, Florida, from July 26 to 29, 2026.
