Pony.ai (PONY-W, 02026) released unaudited results for the three months ended 30 June 2026, highlighting rapid commercial traction in autonomous mobility.

Revenue and Segment Performance • Total revenue reached USD 36.20 million, up 68.80% year on year. • Robotaxi services contributed USD 12.07 million, a 691.20% surge versus Q2 2025, fuelled by an 849.30% jump in fare-charging income and higher joint-deployment fees. • Robotruck services generated USD 13.33 million, rising 40.00% YoY on expanding freight volumes in partnership with Sinotrans. • Intelligent solutions revenue was broadly stable at USD 10.82 million (+3.93% YoY).

Profitability Metrics • Gross profit increased 83.40% YoY to USD 6.35 million; gross margin improved to 17.5% (Q2 2025: 16.1%), aided by a richer Robotaxi mix. • Operating expenses grew 11.40% to USD 72.09 million, reflecting continued R&D investment. Non-GAAP operating expenses rose 9.60% to USD 63.05 million. • Operating loss narrowed in margin terms to 181.5% of revenue (Q2 2025: 285.6%); non-GAAP operating loss margin improved to 156.5%. • Net loss declined 14.90% YoY to USD 45.35 million, trimming the net-loss margin to 125.2% (Q2 2025: 248.3%). Excluding share-based compensation, fair-value changes and a one-off USD 25.00 million impairment, non-GAAP net loss was USD 44.72 million, broadly flat YoY.

Operating Highlights • Global Robotaxi fleet expanded to 1,975 vehicles as of 30 June; management targets over 3,500 by year-end. • Registered users of PonyPilot in China surpassed 1.50 million. • Overseas momentum strengthened with agreements—including a deal with Uber—for more than 2,000 Robotaxis in Europe; vehicles under negotiation across global markets exceed 4,000 units. • Gen-7 Robotaxis from BAIC, GAC and Toyota entered daily service in multiple Chinese cities; network coverage in Guangzhou grew by over 300 km², serving an urban population above 7 million. • Gen-4 Robotrucks began mass production and commenced commercial deployment at Shenzhen’s Mawan Port.

Cash Position and Liquidity • Cash, cash equivalents, short-term investments and related balances stood at USD 1.39 billion as of 30 June 2026, down slightly from USD 1.44 billion at end-March due to operating cash outflows and USD 32.16 million in capex for fleet production and data-centre expansion. • Free cash outflow (non-GAAP) widened to USD 76.18 million from USD 34.99 million a year earlier, mirroring intensified investment in scaling operations.

Outlook Management reaffirmed confidence in surpassing full-year Robotaxi service-revenue targets and sustaining fleet expansion, underpinned by ongoing domestic roll-outs and accelerating international partnerships.
