NEW FOCUS AUTO (HKG: 00360) has announced the appointment of an independent financial advisor.

The company stated that, with the approval of its independent board committee, Hoodell Corporate Finance Limited has been appointed to serve in this capacity.

Hoodell Corporate Finance is a licensed corporation authorized to conduct regulated activities under Hong Kong's Securities and Futures Ordinance, specifically Type 4 (advising on securities), Type 6 (advising on corporate finance), and Type 9 (asset management).

Its role will be to provide advice to the independent board committee and the independent shareholders concerning a loan agreement and the proposed transactions under it.
