On November 20, the Beijing Airport-CBD Service Center was officially launched. The center, jointly initiated by the Beijing Municipal Commerce Bureau, the Beijing Central Business District (CBD) Administrative Committee, and the Capital Airports Holding Company, aims to establish a "direct link" between the CBD and Beijing's two major airports. It will directly address challenges faced by enterprises in air travel and customs clearance, bridging the "last mile" of port services and enhancing the "Beijing Service" brand for ports.

Beijing's airport ports serve as a vital gateway for China's international connectivity, with flight networks from the two airports covering over 120 destinations across 64 countries and regions. The route coverage ranks first nationwide, while flight frequency ranks second. As the capital's "international reception hall," the CBD is Beijing's most economically dynamic area, currently developing an international legal and business integration demonstration zone, an international financial hub, a dual-industry convergence demonstration zone, a trillion-yuan business district, and a zero-carbon CBD.

According to the "2025 Global Business District Attractiveness Report," Beijing CBD ranks sixth globally, second in Asia, and first in China. It hosts tens of thousands of foreign enterprises, nearly half of Beijing's multinational regional headquarters, 70% of international financial institutions, 80% of international organizations, and 90% of international media, showcasing strong global appeal. It is also the largest source of passenger traffic for Beijing's ports.

Through the Beijing Airport-CBD Service Center, businesses in the CBD can swiftly resolve travel and customs clearance issues while accessing tailored airport services based on their needs. This facilitates smoother business travel and more efficient cargo clearance, supporting enterprises in expanding their international operations.

Additionally, the center will further drive the deep integration of "aviation + business districts," fostering synergy between consumption and logistics as well as business and airport operations, injecting momentum into Beijing's goal of becoming an international consumption hub city.
