On 4 June 2026, the Executive under the Hong Kong Code on Takeovers and Mergers disclosed that BlackRock, Inc. bought 12.85 million ENN Energy Holdings Ltd shares on 3 June 2026. The trade was executed at USD 53.20 per share on a U.S. exchange and was conducted for discretionary investment clients.

Following the purchase, BlackRock’s aggregate position in ENN Energy rose to 80.81 million shares, representing 7.14 % of the company’s issued share capital. The asset manager is classified as a Class (6) associate of the offeree because of its shareholding in the company, which is currently subject to a privatisation by way of a scheme of arrangement.
