HUITONGDA NET (09878) saw its stock price climb nearly 11% intraday before settling at a 7.77% gain, trading at 9.22 Hong Kong dollars with a turnover of 11.2754 million Hong Kong dollars.

The company recently announced a plan to buy back H-shares on the open market from time to time, with a total repurchase amount not exceeding 500 million yuan. The board believes that the H-share buyback aligns with the overall interests of the company and its shareholders, demonstrating the confidence of the company and its management team in the future development prospects of the business and the recognition of its long-term value.

Notably, earlier this year, HUITONGDA NET forged a major strategic partnership with Lingshi Youxuan, a snack-focused retailer, through a merger-based joint venture. This move integrated 2,800 offline stores into the company's retail ecosystem. Recently, Lingshi Youxuan completed a new round of store format upgrades, expanding from a single bulk snack store model to a multi-format matrix encompassing community convenience stores and discount supermarkets, while accelerating its penetration into lower-tier markets like counties and towns. This upgrade marks an evolution for Lingshi Youxuan from a "snack bulk retail expert" to a "full-chain retail chain brand," and it also signals that HUITONGDA NET's retail chain strategy is steadily being implemented, with results gradually emerging.
