NVIDIA said its board approved an additional $150 bln share buyback authorization on top of the existing program, bringing remaining authorized repurchases to $235 bln. The company expects to complete the remaining repurchases by the end of fiscal 2028.

The size of this increase surpasses Apple's $110 billion record set in 2024, making it the largest single increase in buyback authorization in U.S. corporate history.

CEO Jensen Huang said NVIDIA's growth is driven by the shift to AI and accelerated computing and that cash generation enables continued investment and shareholder returns.
