According to the latest "China Semi-Annual Accelerated Computing Market (H1 2025) Tracking Report" released by International Data Corporation (IDC), China's accelerated server market reached $16 billion in the first half of 2025, more than doubling compared to the same period in 2024. IDC projects that by 2029, China's accelerated server market will exceed $140 billion.

In the first half of 2025, by vendor sales revenue, Inspur, H3C, and LENOVO GROUP (00992) ranked in the top three, capturing nearly 50% of market share. From a server shipment perspective, Inspur, H3C, and Ningchang held the top three positions, accounting for approximately 43% of market share. By industry, the internet sector remains the largest purchasing segment, representing nearly 69% of the overall accelerated server market. Additionally, finance, education, telecommunications, and healthcare sectors all experienced growth exceeding 100%.

From a macro perspective, computing voucher policies have significantly lowered the usage threshold for domestic AI computing power through billion-yuan investments and multi-tier support systems. This initiative has driven domestic manufacturers to achieve strategic transformation from single-point product substitution to comprehensive ecosystem autonomous innovation. Compared to the phased demand during the large-scale commercial deployment stage in 2024, domestic AI computing power in H1 2025 not only achieved growth in deployment scale but also moved toward a transformation from policy and market dual-driven to product competitiveness-centered development.

From an industry transformation perspective, in the industrial sector, AI servers are deeply integrated into real-time process optimization, predictive maintenance, and digital twin simulation to enhance manufacturing precision. In finance, they are applied to high-frequency trading risk control and intelligent investment research, processing high-dimensional real-time data. Smart healthcare has witnessed technologies such as genomic analysis and surgical robot control, pursuing ultra-low latency and high reliability. Traditional industries including retail, energy, and agriculture have also achieved real-time analysis of offline behaviors and localized decision-making through edge computing power.

From an application scenario perspective, AI acceleration technology is powerfully driving autonomous driving breakthroughs: in-vehicle and roadside systems leverage high-performance computing power to complete real-time multi-sensor fusion and complex environmental perception, supporting vehicle safety decisions; intelligent cockpits rely on edge computing to achieve multimodal interaction and personalized services.

Furthermore, China's accelerated chip market reached over 1.9 million units in H1 2025. From an acceleration technology perspective, demand for non-GPU cards continues to grow with increasing policy support, with growth rates far exceeding GPUs and capturing 30% of market share. From a brand perspective, domestic chip brands have gained further adoption, accounting for approximately 35% of the total market share.

Du Yunlong, IDC China AI Infrastructure Analyst, believes that China's AI accelerated server market is experiencing a phase of scale expansion and domestic substitution. Breakthroughs are still needed in high-end computing efficiency and ecosystem maturity. Future competition will shift from single-chip performance to system energy efficiency ratios, open ecosystem collaboration, and green computing cost control. The industry needs to avoid low-level redundant construction and enhance international competitiveness through technological collaboration and standard optimization.
