Kunlun Energy Company Limited released a Next Day Disclosure Return on 05 June 2026 detailing continued execution of its share-repurchase programme.
The latest transaction occurred on 05 June 2026, when the company bought back 984,000 ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at between HKD 6.86 and HKD 6.90 per share. The aggregate consideration was HKD 6.77 million, implying a volume-weighted average price of HKD 6.88.
Including this purchase, a total of 18.14 million shares have been repurchased for cancellation but not yet cancelled between 25 March and 05 June 2026. This volume represents approximately 0.21 % of the company’s 8.66 billion issued shares.
Shareholders approved a fresh 10 % buyback mandate (up to 865.88 million shares) on 28 May 2026. Since the mandate became effective, Kunlun Energy has repurchased 3.35 million shares, equal to 0.04 % of the share capital at the mandate date.
The issued share count remains unchanged at 8.66 billion shares pending formal cancellation of the repurchased stock. In line with Hong Kong listing rules, Kunlun Energy is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares until 05 July 2026.
