On 13 July 2026, Wang On Group Limited executed an on-market repurchase of 60.00 million ordinary shares at a fixed price of HKD 0.022 per share, for a total consideration of HKD 1.32 million.
The shares bought back represent 0.424% of the company’s issued share capital as at the date (19 August 2025) when shareholders approved the current buy-back mandate, which originally authorised the repurchase of up to 1.42 billion shares. After this transaction, approximately 1.36 billion shares, or 96% of the mandate, remain available for future repurchases.
All 60.00 million shares have been earmarked for cancellation and have not yet been removed from the issued share count. Consequently, Wang On Group’s issued share capital stands unchanged at 14.17 billion shares as of the close of 13 July 2026.
According to the filing, no treasury shares are held by the company, and a moratorium on new share issues or transfers of treasury shares is in effect until 12 August 2026, in line with Hong Kong Stock Exchange Main Board Rule 10.06. The company confirmed that the repurchase complied with all relevant listing rules and that there have been no material changes to the explanatory statement issued on 19 August 2025.
