Fibocom Announces Discontinuation of 2026 Employee Stock Ownership Plan

Fibocom (ASX: 00638) has issued an announcement regarding the termination of its 2026 Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).

The plan was initially implemented following approval by the company's board of directors and an extraordinary general meeting, with the aim of establishing a shared interest mechanism between employees and shareholders.

The 2026 ESOP was designed for participation by company directors (excluding independent directors), senior management, middle management, and key technical and business staff, with total participants not exceeding 269 individuals.

The shares for the plan were sourced from the company's repurchased A-shares held in a dedicated repurchase securities account, with a designated purchase price of 15.10 yuan per share.

As of the date of this announcement, the procedures for signing grant agreements and the payment of subscription funds under the 2026 ESOP had not been finalized.

After careful consideration, the company's board of directors resolved on July 6, 2026, to terminate the implementation of the 2026 ESOP ahead of schedule.

Concurrently, the supporting administrative measures and related documents for the 2026 ESOP have also been terminated.

Moving forward, the company stated it will continue to refine a sustainable long-term incentive mechanism. It plans to select appropriate methods based on its development requirements, regulatory policies, and changing market conditions to attract and retain top talent, fully motivate key employees, and foster the company's healthy growth.
