A financial disclosure form reveals that the U.S. President acquired up to $50,000 in SpaceX stock on June 23rd, a mere fortnight following the record-setting initial public offering of Elon Musk's aerospace venture.

The specific execution price for the President's share purchase remains undisclosed; however, at that juncture, the stock had already retreated from its peak above the $200 threshold. Trading on June 23rd saw SpaceX shares transact within the mid-$150 range.

By Monday's market close, the shares had settled at their $135 offering price, indicating the President's position is likely now underwater, falling below its cost basis. The relationship between the President and Musk has been notably cordial, though a brief rift emerged last summer when Musk accused the President of withholding Department of Justice files concerning the Jeffrey Epstein case, given the President's frequent mentions within those documents.

Reports indicate that SpaceX's portfolio of government contracts has been steadily expanding, benefiting from the current administration's deregulatory stance. White House spokesperson Davis Engle confirmed that the President's investment portfolio is managed by a third-party financial institution, with holdings benchmarked against mainstream indices such as the Schwab 1000.
