Wall Street experienced a sharp decline on Wednesday, with the Federal Reserve keeping interest rates unchanged as expected. However, three officials unexpectedly voted for a quarter-point rate hike, surprising the market. This led to a surge in U.S. bond yields, and all three major indices closed significantly lower. The U.S. dollar weakened, while the yield on the 10-year Treasury note rose to 4.67%. Gold prices fluctuated higher, and oil prices also moved upward.

Hong Kong's stock market saw a collective opening gain today. The Hang Seng Index rose 0.26% to 25,875.83 points, the Hang Seng Tech Index increased by 0.43%, and the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index climbed 0.59%.

In terms of sector performance, tech and internet stocks were mostly positive, with Meituan surging over 2%, and Xiaomi and JD.com both advancing more than 1%, while Bilibili fell nearly 1%. AI application stocks opened higher, with Zhipu AI rising over 1%. New consumer concept stocks were active, with Miniso gaining over 1%. Gold stocks broadly rose, with Chifeng Jilong Gold Mining jumping over 3%.

In a notable event, Zhongji Innolight Co., Ltd. (ZJ INNOLIGHT) fell below its initial public offering price on its first trading day, dropping nearly 1% in a debut-day underperformance.
