JD INDUSTRIALS (07618) released its first-half 2026 performance results on August 13, reporting total revenue of 13.07 billion yuan, a 27.4% increase year-on-year, and adjusted net profit of 750 million yuan, up 43.4% from the previous year, demonstrating robust and high-quality growth.

Beyond serving large industrial clients, JD INDUSTRIALS is increasingly targeting the small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) industrial market. Through a multi-channel network that includes JD Wujin City, JD Gongpinhui, and physical stores, the company is delivering inclusive digital supply chain capabilities to SMEs. This approach aims to address common pain points faced by small manufacturers, such as fragmented procurement, high costs, and a lack of digitalization expertise, ultimately helping them achieve cost reduction, efficiency gains, and digital transformation in their purchasing processes.

SMEs often struggle with scattered purchase orders, volatile demand plans, and a lack of dedicated procurement teams. In response, JD INDUSTRIALS has upgraded its Gongpinhui platform, introducing an AI-Powered Procurement Assistant. This transforms the traditional spot goods procurement platform into an AI-driven, digital supply chain service platform. Tailored for the cyclical and non-standardized procurement needs of SMEs, the platform features a dedicated procurement workbench, creating a complete closed loop from online product selection and 3D model downloads to order placement, transaction execution, delivery, and fulfillment. This effectively lowers the barrier to digital procurement for SMEs, making tools previously available only to large corporations accessible to the broader market.

As a core channel for the small business market, JD Wujin City continues to strengthen its brand positioning with the slogan "Buy hardware on JD" and is implementing a "SME Procurement Inclusion Plan." The platform utilizes AI tools to build scenario-based procurement areas, optimizing the one-stop shopping experience and improving the efficiency of product selection and price comparison. Based on big data, it pre-empts demand for essential industrial categories, enabling precise inventory management. Concurrently, it is expanding its network of small fulfillment warehouses in key national industrial zones to shorten delivery times.

Beyond the online channel, JD INDUSTRIALS is accelerating the rollout of its "Front Store, Back Warehouse" industrial model, promoting deep online-offline integration. These stores, located near various industrial parks, integrate product selection, physical product experience, instant delivery, and after-sales maintenance, covering the complete needs of SME customers from product selection and procurement to delivery and after-sales service. This addresses the pain points of small businesses struggling with urgent spare parts procurement and slow after-sales response times. The online channel handles massive search volumes and order demands, while the offline stores act as front-end fulfillment nodes, effectively linking online traffic with offline warehousing and service capabilities.

Industry insiders note that the vast number of small and medium-sized industrial enterprises in China represent a weak link in industrial digitalization. Most of these entities are unable to build their own procurement systems and urgently need external supply chain platforms to provide lightweight, low-cost digital tools. JD INDUSTRIALS, through its dual-channel strategy with Gongpinhui and JD Wujin City, combined with its physical store network, is transferring the supply chain, AI, and warehousing capabilities it has developed while serving large clients down to the SME market. Unlike customized projects for large enterprise groups, the services for SMEs emphasize inclusivity and lightweight design. Through the combination of the AI-Powered Procurement Assistant, the Inclusion Plan, and the Front Store-Back Warehouse model, JD INDUSTRIALS is transforming its mature supply chain capabilities into standardized services, allowing SMEs to access professional industrial procurement services without significant investment, thereby using supply chain power to help upgrade and improve the vast number of small industrial entities.
