Impro Precision’s 2025 Environmental, Social and Governance report shows both top-line expansion and accelerated sustainability progress. Revenue reached a record HK$5.10 billion, supported by 1,400 new SKUs and a global customer base that now spans roughly 9,700 active SKUs. R&D spend rose 9.4% year on year to HK$249.80 million, or 4.9% of sales, helping the group file 96 new patents and secure a 77-point EcoVadis Silver rating, placing it in the top 15% of rated companies.

Environmental metrics exceeded the company’s 2030 targets ahead of schedule. Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse-gas intensity fell 41.5% versus the 2020 baseline to 33.5 tCO₂e per HK$ million revenue, while energy-consumption intensity dropped 31.6%. Water-consumption intensity decreased 58.3%, hazardous-waste intensity declined 58.1% and non-recyclable waste intensity fell 85.9%. Impro also disclosed 129,446 tCO₂e of upstream Scope 3 emissions for the first time, covering four categories.

Operationally, Impro added three ISO 14001-certified plants in Mexico, lifting EMS coverage to 78.9% of sites, and installed its second 20 MW/40 MWh energy-storage station in China. Photovoltaic output reached 4.81 million kWh, covering 1.6% of power needs.

Social indicators remained strong. The company reported zero work-related fatalities or serious injuries, delivered 286,330 training hours (34.6 hours per employee) and maintained 100% safety-training coverage. Female representation stood at 28.6% of the Board and 24.4% of top executives.

Governance efforts included the adoption of UN Global Compact principles, 100% anti-corruption training coverage, and business-ethics audits across all 19 operating plants. Contracts containing ESG clauses rose to 65.0% of the supplier base, while recycled and scrap metal accounted for 66% of total metal purchases, moving the group toward its 70% target for 2035.

Management reaffirmed its 2030 goals: a 30% cut in GHG and energy-use intensities (already surpassed) and further reductions in incident rates and waste intensities. The company plans to widen Scope 3 coverage and maintain capital spending on efficiency, renewable energy and product innovation to sustain its leadership in precision components and sustainable manufacturing.
